This is my second week in OpenMoko. The picture above is taken on 6:29pm June 29 Friday. At that time, I have few days over night working from last Wednesday already. After I took this picture, I went back to OpenMoko office in 7 floor and keep working until it is 4:30am next morning. After few days later, we work out a basic idea how to get the payment from customers and all the shipment process. This picture is for Will, his flow chart is awesome!!! You can see Will is adding another task to himself. You want to know when I took these two pictures? 2:30am. OK. Today is Saturday. I sitting in front of my laptop in OpenMoko's old office. We're going to move to new area since Harald Welte's blog have told you guys he already did the floor plan done. I have to say that FIC building is a cool place to work with. The security guard is extraordinary friendly, although they are always chewing Taiwanese gum (檳榔) and smoking off duty. On the top floor, there is a great place that you can work out for a bit. they have two KTV rooms(the same with Cashbox), gym and some arcade machines like DDR4 and basket ball machine! And you can access the blue sky any time if you want, just go up to top floor. Not only hardware, here in OpenMoko we got best software I've ever have! I spend all week with Harald Welte, the LaForge and Werner Almesberger just arrived two days ago. They are superb guys with excellent personality. Linux 人 >> Everest 开发日志 � 今天去了IDF，RedFlag MID MIDINUX MIDINUX 就是MID Linux，这个名字也是最近才有的，以前，这个product是没有正式名字的 MIDINUX 有部分based on Everest，其中的Xserver, kernel prototype都是从E而来(Everest的用户应该很高兴吧)。 其GUI最初是based on maemo，也就是hildeon framework(这一点，也可以证明MIDINUX的开发时间)，启动项目时，Nokia 770还没有上市。 主要的应用程序有 coolfox浏览器，这个浏览器的原型是用2天的时间编写的，主要实现了一个mozilla gecko引擎接口的封装，也就是gecko_bridge, of course，使用的是C ，这个工作也并不是完全从零开始，最初也参考了manaos的代码(相信很多人不知道manaos，这个也是一个浏览器封装)。 coolimage图片查看器，看到发在fans的gnome版面那个eog的stroke鼠标手势的补丁吗？那个就是为coolimage作的path finding. coolmedia，早期基于RealPlayer，后来又做了XINE实现，也就是说，这是个双引擎的播放器。 另外还有GPS，abiword等各种丰富的工具。 值得一提的是：还采用了alpher的llk(为什么不用红旗的llk？因为红旗的llk是qt的)。 而整个的midinux桌面是based on gtk的，主要library是hildon libs。 有人说现在的UI像iphone，事实求是的讲：现在的UI跟iphone实际没有任何关系。 这个UI，是由数个UI专家和开发者，包括我和UMPC的PCZOU在内，在公司大会议室头脑风暴出来的。 主要的组件： 1，HOME MENU，来自Windows mobile的开始菜单。 2，statusbar(notifyarea)，来自maemo. 3，task list and switch，这个设计是来自我自己用的一个手机软件。 4，Close Button，这个理念是来自O2的一个软件和Windows Mobile的OK键，其实这个Button可以有两个功能，一个是关闭，一个是返回，目

白爛大雜燴 是的。就一片空白。 事實上，最近忙到翻過來，忙什麼呢？Windows Diagnostic... 待在Houston忙著搞定H公司，還有忙著搞定L公司。 光是一個"鬼"的授權，就可以買3個月。我不知道我幹什麼那麼拼命。每天工作兼con-call到2點，早上6點又爬起來con-call。 至於我的工作上的最愛Linux跟家人呢？ 只好暫時放一邊去。最近剛買的Notebook，從11月到現在，都還沒有時間安裝Etch可見一斑。
