Rebuilding Iraq with Linux

Wired has interview Iraq with their new coming LUG which trying to rebuild Iraq with Linux technologies. In this article: Wired News: Slow Going for Linux in Iraq, some Iraq citizens strive to hold up Internet cafes that eager students are returning school to learn how program. Also that students can bought high-end PC with only $150 dollars.

Hardware might solve part of problems, but running M$ product on these computers aren't reasonable.


The Iraqi Linux User Group was build last Octorber.
